SDC 18–Spooky, Creepy, or Crawly!

This weeks challenge over at the Stampotique Designers Blog is to make something spooky, creepy, or crawly! What fun this theme is, especially since there were new stamps released recently from Stampotique and Halloween is just around the corner!

I had a blast making this card! I did a step card, with a background on the back of the card. I used a few of Martha’s gorgeous punches, Basic Grey Eerie paper from last year, and all stamps are from Stampotique!

If you want to join in on the challenge, pop on over to the Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog!  We would love to see your creations, and you could win the $30 gift certificate to the Stampotique Store! This week is a Stampotique only stamps week. If you don’t have any Stampotique stamps yet, come back and play with us on the first challenge of each month for a chance to build your collection!

Thank you so much for stopping by today, and have a beautiful day!

The day finally came!  On Wednesday Oct. 20, at 7:54 pm., my first grandchild was born!  His name is Zachary Jon. He was 7 lbs. 15 oz. and 21 inches long. I am happy to say that Jen is doing well, she was in labour for 40 hours though, so she is beat, and needs some rest!  Jen’s Mom is at the house for a while to help out a bit, so that is wonderful. Mike was able to take a few days off work, and spend time with Jen and Zachary.

I will post more pictures as they come! I have been so excited, telling everyone about my grandson, and showing his picture to everyone willing to look!  I make myself laugh, but hey, this is all part of being a Grandma!!

Have a wonderful day everyone!!

TSC2 – The Stampsmith Challenge

Hi everyone,

Today’s card is for The Stampsmith Challenge. If you haven’t heard, Stampsmith has a new challenge blog and there is a draw twice a month for a chance to win a gift certificate to shop in The Stampsmith store, if you play in the challenges! Here is what the guidelines are this week:

This week we challenge you to create a project using specific colors - black and white and one other color - with at least one Stampsmith Stamp to qualify for the draw!  If you do not yet have any Stampsmith images, please join us for the open challenge on November 1st.

Onto my card,

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA I know I have probably said this a million times, but omgosh, I love The Stampsmith stamps! They are so beautiful and elegant, and they make it so easy to make a special card! This stamp is off one of the new Diva plates! Love it!

We hope to see your beautiful creations, so please drop by and check out the challenge blog and see the other design team members cards!

Have a wonderful day, and thank you so much for stopping by,

:)

I really do love snowmen!

I love this time of year. Starting to make Christmas cards, or winter cards I guess you could say. Snowmen just make me smile, they are just fun! Brings back memories of being a kid and making snowmen. I remember going in the house and sneaking out hats, mittens, scarves, carrots, and raisins. I guess I wasn’t a very good sneak though, my Mom always knew what was going on, and always had a big smile when we dragged her outside to check out our snowmen!

Anyway, here is my card for today. This is the last card for my class at Photo Memories.

Bo Bunny Christmas

Hello there,

I guess it is time to start thinking about making Christmas cards! Have you seen the new Bo Bunny Christmas papers? I am loving the funky colours of this new line. I did these cards for a beginner class I am teaching at Photo Memories. There is one more card, but I am not quite finished.

Anyway, here are a couple of the cards we will be making.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA This card is super sparkly IRL. I couldn’t capture that in a photo for some reason.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA I just love Christmas stockings. I was so tempted to do more with this stamp, but realise there is only so much time in a class, and we will be making 3 cards.

I have another baby bump picture to share with you! I really love this photo with both Jen and Mikes hands on her belly!

Thank you for stopping by today, even though it wasn’t stamping related! I do have something to share with you later this evening, I am off to work here shortly!

Have a beautiful day!
