Friendship

I made this card a couple nights ago, and really enjoyed making it.  I used a brayer, and it’s been a long time since I pulled that baby out!

I just adore this stamp from Stampotique Originals.  I also used a little flower stamp from Stampotique for the sun. If you can’t read the saying, it goes: Life is nothing without friendship.  How true that is.

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Stampotique Challenge – Purple

This week over at the Stampotique Designers Challenge Blog, I have challenged everyone to create a card using the colour purple as the main colour. You can use any shade or tone of purple, hopefully this will make it a bit easier on those who don't use a lot of purple on their projects. Please remember, this week's challenge is a Stampotique Originals only week! So get out your stamps and play with us! You could win free rubber from Stampotique!  If you play along and put your card on Splitcoast, please use SDC8 on your card so we can find your card easily!

This is my take on the challenge:

The stamps used on this card are all available from Stampotique Orginals.

If you have time, we would love to you join us in the fun this week!

Have a beautiful day,

Have a Magical Day…

Hello there,

I actually made this card awhile back and am just getting to upload it today.  The main image and sentiment are from Sweet Pea stamps.  They are just so much fun to colour.  I used my Copic Markers, and when the card was all assembled, I sprayed a bit of Smooch irredescent spray all over.  It’s very sparkly and shiny IRL.

Thank you for stopping by and have a beautiful spring day!

Stampotique Designers Challenge – Use a template

It's time for another Stampotique Designers Challenge! Don't worry if you don't have any Stampotique stamps yet! Now's your opportunity to join our challenge using any stamps that inspire your creativity for a chance to win a $15 Stampotique gift certificate!

This week, Valerie Wilson challenges you to use a template for any part of your project (the card, something on the card, whatever) - or it doesn't have to be a card at all. If the mood strikes you to use a template that makes a box or a baggie or some other interesting project, please go for it! Let your creative muse guide you wherever it wants to go!

I decided to use my Silhouette to cut out a box with a belly band.  I used all Stampotique Originals stamps, honeycomb, happy, and smiling sun. I first stamped and embossed the honeycomb pattern with clear embossing powder.  I then sponged on different colours of Momento inks to create a resist.

This is how it turned out:
